Patrick Jordan​

CEO & Founder

Patrick found both the World Orphan Drug Alliance and Vector Pharma (MENA/T) in 2019. Most of his career of over 20 years has been in international settings with Pfizer and Merck with a deep knowledge of Russia and the Middle East. Most recently Patrick set up the International expansion of a Rare Disease company. His expertise lies in operational management and market access. Patrick has managed teams as large as 700 employees, with a focus on managing the bottom line for well leveraged growth. Patrick was born and raised in Athens, Greece.

Takis Zervakakis

Chief Commercial Advisor

Takis holds a BSc in Pharmacology and is owner and CEO at ILS Pharma (Greece) with a long and highly successful career in pharmaceutical sector for over 35 years. He started his career at Wyeth Greece where through numerous promotions built strong expertise in regulatory, pricing/market access, marketing, sales and medical reaching the level of Regional Managing Director for Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Balkan countries and Malta. Following the acquisition of Wyeth by Pfizer, he was appointed as Head of Specialty Care BU. He then expanded his expertise in clinical research being VP of Marketing and Business Development in ZeinCRO (Greece). He has been VP of the Greek Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (SFEE) and President of PhARMA (LAWG) for 15 years. After a long career in multinational companies, he decided to begin his own business, establishing ILS Pharma (then known as ILS consulting) been responsible for the launch of numerous products in Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Turkey and NORDIC countries.

George Stefanakos

Medical Director

George is a Physician from the Medical School-University of Athens and specialized in Pulmonology from Sismanogleion Hospital. He jointed the pharmaceutical industry where he acquired more than 15 years of experience in key positions in areas such as Medical Affairs, PV-medical review, regulatory and clinical trials in areas such as Infectious diseases, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Vaccines, Respiratory diseases and Oncology. He currently works as a Pulmonologist at his primary Office, PV medical reviewer, consultant/expert for projects of the Ministry for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection: Coordinating Emergency preparedness, response and Climate Change Adaptation Actions. He is also the Coordinator of the Operational Centre for Pandemic Sars-CoV2 for the Region of Attica.

Platon Peristeris (Consultant)

RA/MA Director

Platon holds a PhD in Biochemistry and a BSc in Human Biology from the University Claude Bernard – LYON I, Lyon - France. He has spent more than 10 years on research work in several laboratories working on various topics such as inflammation, angiogenesis, cancer and cytogenetics. He then entered in the pharmaceutical industry where he acquired more than 25 years of experience in key positions of increasing responsibility and leading teams in areas such as Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Pricing & Reimbursement, and Public Affairs for the markets of Greece, Cyprus and Malta. He currently works as a Consultant in Pharmaceuticals providing services in areas of his expertise while collaborating as Researcher with the WifOR Research Institute and the Laboratory of Health Economics and Management of the University of Piraeus. He is the author of more than 30 publications, posters and oral communications.

Kyriakos Zervakakis

Operations Director

Kyriakos is Co-Founder/Managing Partner at ILS Pharma (Greece) since 2012. Both his academic and business background are highly specialized within the broader healthcare sector. He holds MSc degrees from University of Piraeus (Greece) and London School of Economics (UK) in Health Management and Health Economics, Policy and Management respectively. He has been actively involved in research studies related to patient satisfaction, Burden of Disease, medical operation cost-analysis and pharmaceutical expenditure/monitoring in hospital care. Concurrently, he is particularly interested in matters associated with the field of behavioral economics in correlation with public health policies participating in executive programs of LSE and Harvard Business School. For more than 15 years he has worked in both the hospital and pharmaceutical sector, building strong expertise in business administration and operational coordination. He has been involved in the launch of numerous products in Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Turkey and NORDIC countries being responsible for matters related with business operations, regulatory approvals, branding and marketing strategy.
